Located along the Great Ocean Road in the picturesque coastal town of Lorne, 2 hours’ drive from Melbourne, Lorne Foreshore Caravan Park is the perfect holiday destination to explore and create memories. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing holiday, weekend away or a coastal adventure, our park offers an amazing location and comfortable facilities. Stay close to beaches and the Erskine River, and only a short stroll to the supermarket and the cosmopolitan Lorne shopping promenade for shopping, entertainment or eateries.
Nestled amongst nature, our camping, caravan sites and cabins take in the breathtaking coastal and bush surrounds of Lorne and provide the perfect base to explore the Great Ocean Road. Visitors can also enjoy a walk to the cascading Erskine Falls amidst the coolness of the lush fern gully in the Great Otway National Park.
The Lorne Foreshore Caravan Park is the ideal base for your next coastal getaway and comprises 5 parks – Erskine River, Kia Ora, Ocean Road, Top Bank and Queens Park, all of which have facilities to keep you comfortable during your stay. With casual powered camp sites for caravans, mobile homes, vans and tents, there is something for everyone at the Lorne Foreshore Caravan Park. Choose river side, beach access, ocean views or close to the amenities, no matter what kind of camping experience you’re looking for, there’s sure to be the ideal site to have you relaxing in no time.
Situated alongside beautiful Erskine River and a short walk to the restaurants and shops, we have a number of different cabin and glamping options to suit your budget, lifestyle and needs. Designed to suit any traveller, discover your perfect fit.
Don’t leave your furry friend at home, dogs are welcome on select sites on a seasonal basis.
Campfires are restricted to Erskine Park only (powered sites only), restricted to off peak times and to the use of the supplied fire drums and firewood only. Should you wish to hire a fire pit, please contact reception prior to your trip to guarantee availability.
When you stay with us, your camping fees not only go into maintaining the campground, they are also reinvested back into the magnificent Great Ocean Road coastline in which you are staying. Your fees will go towards maintaining a wide range of public facilities, assets and infrastructure and other coastal projects.
Bring your Pooch! Dogs are welcome seasonally (excludes cabins). Dogs are permitted in Ocean Road and Top Bank Camp sites only. 1st February - 15th December (excluding Easter, Labour Day weekend, Melbourne Cup weekend, AFL Grand Final and Kings Birthday weekend, and other dates as may be notified). Erskine River and Queens Park are dog free parks. If you would like to bring your dog, please ensure when making your reservation online that you book a Top Bank or Ocean Road campsite. Currently no events
Spent 4 nights in a Riverside Cabin. Low season so not as many people in Lorne at this time, highly recommended. Some great walking and drives through beautiful bush land. The Great Ocean Road is always spectacular with many spots around Lorne easily reached in an hour or so of driving. Good park to stay in adjacent the main supermarket in town.
Stayed in a Family Cabin - Parkview. It was clean and comfortable with good facilities and would recommend to other travellers. The property is well located and a great place for a stopover. Also enjoyed short walks nearby.
This park is very close to shops, beach and beautiful walking tracks.
